Prepping your Home for a Photoshoot
All properties must be ready before the photographer arrives as houses will be photographed in their current state.
Photographers have a set schedule based on your chosen package and limited time for the shoot. To avoid disruptions and achieve the best photos, please see and complete this list before the photographer arrives:
PLEASE NOTE THE FOLLOWING:
- In order to ensure a smooth workflow without any distractions for the photographer, it will ALWAYS be preferable for agents and homeowners NOT to be present during the photoshoot. If not feasible, please plan to remain away during the photoshoot in a separate space, like a bedroom or office.
- Please do not start staging a house during the photoshoot, please ensure this is completed before.
- For liability reasons, photographers will not be moving furniture or assist rearranging items.
- Laundry rooms, garages, closets and pantries will not be photographed unless requested.
- Special edits such as bulk items removal, stain removal, etc will require extra charges.
INSIDE PREPPING:
- TURN ON all lights and lamps. Check for burnt light bulbs and replace with same temperature bulbs.
- TURN OFF all ceiling fans.
- Open all blinds and curtains.
- Declutter and remove personalized items from each room – less is better!
OUTSIDE PREPPING:
- Remove listing sign from front yard.
- Remove cars from driveway and park away from front of the house.
- Remove trash cans and hoses.
AMENITIES:
- Please provide the address to the photographer prior to the shoot.
- Please provide access inside the amenity if gates are locked.
- Please note that if people are using the pool (swimming or sunbathing), the photographer CANNOT take photos.
